THE Heat

Second Circle is primarily a hot yoga method. The Foundation Sequence is practiced at 100-105 degrees with about 35% humidity. Due to their more dynamic nature, Flow and Advanced classes are practiced at a lower temperature, usually about 90-95 degrees.

The heat will make your body more supple and promote healthy mobility. It will also make you dig into your focus a bit, encouraging you to find a different level of mindful engagement in your practice. If you’ve got a whirlwind mind, you’ll find the heat has this remarkable capacity to cut through mental chatter and bring you into your present experience.

If you’ve never practiced hot yoga it may seem unusual or intimidating. Don’t worry. It’s completely doable. It’s hard, we won’t lie, but you can do it. (Just make sure you drink some water before you show up.)

Technology

Our heating system is state-of-the-art. We use FAR Infrared panels from Heating Green, a healthy form of radiant heating that creates a deeply effective, consistent heat with maximum efficiency.

These radiant panels are controlled by a smart Ecobee thermostat that uses smart technology for maximum efficiency. It’s all internetted up, which is why we will not give you the WiFi password.
