When we designed the Foundation Sequence we wanted it to serve as just that, a foundation for your practice. No matter your skill or experience level, Foundation is meant to be a sort of home; stable, predictable, and grounding.
However, we didn’t want Second Circle to be limited by this one approach. The world of Yoga is broad and deep, with myriad ways to approach your practice. Varied experience can provide us with varied perspective. That is, if you change the way you do something it can can change the way you see yourself. In many ways, this idea lies at the heart of what we do here.
In this video, we show how the Equanimity Flow from Foundation can move into more challenging posture work. In the Intermediate class, we add binds and prep for handstand. In Advanced, we challenge the balance further and start to work on holding handstand.
