Join us at Second Circle for an evening workshop designed to restore the body and relax the mind. Together, Kyle and Maya will lead a group session in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. This practice is meant to release habitual tension patterns that keep the body tight and the mind whirring. After systematically opening the body we will complete the practice with a full session of Yoga Nidra, a form of mindful relaxation that will put you in a place of deep calm.
The goal of this practice is to take you to the border of sleep, where body and mind are un-"gripped" and can simply rest. Even a short time in this state will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
This is a non-heated practice. The workshop, including a brief introductory discussion, will last a bit less than two hours.Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing with a second layer available as the body's core temp can drop a bit during deep relaxation.
